Touring In Tassie Itinerary

Tomorrow morning I’m off to Hobart to mess about in writing workshops with students from Ogilvie High School and Rose Bay High School in Hobart. They’re the first two stops in a three day tour of Tasmania.

If you happen to be wandering past Rosny Library in the evening, I’ll be speaking on a panel with Penni Russon, James Roy and Lili Wilkinson. We’ll be yarning about our stylish and varied approach to writing for young adults. The very dynamic Centre for Youth Literature and the State Library of Tasmania have organised the tour.

On Thursday, our team will be at the Collegiate Performing Arts Centre in the morning and then we’ll drive to Launceston for a session at Launceston Library (Civic Square).

Friday morning we’ll be at Launceston Tram Shed Auditorium and then at Kings Meadow High School in the afternoon. Then back to Melbourne for Friday evening. Phew!

Kirsty is an Australian author of books for children and young adults.

“Every adult was once a child and the child inside them never disappears.”
