The Big Impact of Little Things

I’ve been on a binge of reading new information books for kids. Check out my review of The Little Things that Run the City on my blog. It’s a gorgeous book about all the little creatures that give life in Melbourne zing.

Off to the Printer!

I feel just as excited as Ruby and Banjo, the joyous characters on the cover of my new picture book, ‘Puddle Hunters’. Last week, the final proofs of this story, beautifully illustrated by the uber-talented Karen Blair, went off to the printers. It will be in shops come August, in good time for puddle season.

Singapore!

Next week I’ll be in Singapore, visiting both Dulwich College and the Australian International School as well as attending the Asian Festival of Children’s Content.  It’s been a few years since I’ve last spent more than a day in Singapore and I’m looking forward to its heat and magic.
