Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean in the USA

It’s official. Eat the Sky Drink the Ocean is now in bookshops in America. I’m heading over to the USA on Tuesday and will be talking about the anthology at events in San Francisco before attending the fabulous feminist writers conference, Bindercon in LA.

Talking on ‘Teaching Books’

logo-bookmark‘Teaching Books’ is a US website that has terrific resources for teachers. They’ve just uploaded an audio recording of me talking about my name plus links to teaching resources too. Click the Teaching Books image to explore the site.

The Wonderful West

Tomorrow I head west, flying across Australia to spend two and a half weeks as a guest of The Literature Centre in Fremantle. For many Australian children’s authors, The Literature Centre is a home away from home. I’ve packed my bag and my kit of workshop materials and I’m looking forward to working with hundreds of sharp young writers inĀ Fremantle and Newman in Western Australia

Kirsty is an Australian author of books for children and young adults.

“Every adult was once a child and the child inside them never completely disappears.”
